2025 Catholic Summer Youth Camp

Registration for 2025 Catholic Summer Youth Camp opened, Wednesday, October 23 (for current grades 5-11.) Again this year for Catholic Youth Summer Camp, St Brendan parish will provide $100 towards each of our first 100 students to register (cost per session is $620). POD Nursery Coordinator is Needed!

The Pod Nursery will be closed on Sunday mornings and during Faith Formation until we find a new coordinator. We are looking for someone who is organized and loves working around children. They will oversee scheduling the volunteers who watch over children during the 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM Masses, and during Family Faith Formation sessions. Honoring Veterans this Saturday

Anchored Returns Nov 13

Join us for elevating music, parishioner testimony of faith by Gerri Stanko and our prayer team will be ready to pray with you in the church next Wednesday, November 13, 6 PM. Confession is available. Anchored in Adoration will continue the second Wednesday of each month.

Fr Dooley’s Installation Mass

Mark your calendars and plan to attend! Fr Dooley will be formally installed as Pastor to our parish and campus on Saturday, November 16 at the 5:30 PM Vigil Mass with Bishop Earl K. Fernandes presiding.

Mission of Prayer Workshop

MORE on the Mission of Prayer on Monday, November 18, at 7 PM, in the Davidson Rooms! We continue our commitment to pray with and for others in this Year of Mission by offering a follow-up workshop for those who attended our October 2 event and anyone interested in further training in prayer. Our goal is to serve our parish through offering both in-person prayer teams and teams that intentionally pray for others or parish needs each week. Advent Family Retreat

Many beautiful songs and hymns have been written to tell the Christmas story. Join us for a family event where the lyrics of these well-loved songs will come alive through crafts, games, prayer, food and fellowship. Enjoy this fun, hands-on, meaningful gathering to prepare your family for the Advent season on December 1 at 1-2:30 PM in the Davidson Rooms (followed by Lessons & Carols). Lessons and Carols

Join us after the Advent Family Retreat in the Church on December 1 from 3-4 PM for some traditional Christmas caroling. Sing along as our music director, Ross Williams, leads us in festive carols to further prepare our hearts for the birth of our Savior this Advent season. No registration needed. SILENT AUCTION GIVING TREES

The Giving Tees are available in the church gathering space. Pick a tag (or two!) and return the items to the box by the trees by July 24 so we can create themed baskets to be raffled off at our Festival Silent Auction. BASKET DONATIONS FOR THE SILENT AUCTION

We will be accepting baskets, both new and gently used, for assembling packages for the Festival Silent Auction starting next weekend. Please drop them off in trailer (near Wellnitz Hall) which will be in place July 6 through July 24. Thank you!

It’s Bucks v. Ducks when St Brendan School hosts their annual Food Truck Tailgate! Watch it on the Jumbotron in our parking lot October 12 at 6:30 PM (kickoff is 7:30 PM). Enjoy food trucks, fellowship and fun!

SPORTS GEAR COLLECTION DRIVE – St Brendan is partnering with Leveling the Playing Field – OH to run a sports equipment collection drive at the St Brendan Tailgate on Oct 12th during the Ohio State vs Oregon game! We will be helping to collect gently used sports gear for LPF Ohio, a Columbus non-profit that helps kids from under-resourced communities become involved in youth sports through the collection and redistribution of gently used/excess sporting equipment! These donations benefit local schools, youth/after-school programs, rec centers, and other youth serving organizations. Help make a huge impact for kids in our community by bringing in any equipment that’s no longer in use! to view a list of items being collected, click HERE

TRUNK OR TREAT

This year’s Trunk or Treat will take place on Monday, October 28 from 6-7:30 in the parking lot by the playground! Start thinking about your trunk or costume theme!
